Gingerbread House

The morning after Christmas, Memere helped Jasmine and Alexander make a gingerbread house. It's a good thing we took the picture when we did, because it collapsed soon after. Eating it became quite easy after that.

Alexander spent most of Christmas and the following month playing the Charlie Brown music in his birthday card. He still has that card, but the battery ran out.

Throwing Knives

Mandi, Andi and some other people...maybe Carlos and Nando?...were throwing knives in the backyard. Alexander was fascinated, so he gave it a try.

Christmas morning

Christmas morning started with stockings and opening presents.

Now, on to present opening.

Jasmine's Birthday

This is the morning of Jasmine's birthday. After she went to bed, my mom, sister and I decorated the kitchen table for her. She woke up (way too early for me) to the princess doorway leading to a table of presents.

Alex's birthday party

Christophe was in Austin for Alex's birthday, but he is on the telephone there next to Alex. He awoke to a table of presents and entry of red ribbon.

Jasmine was very excited about his presents. Alexander, while aslo excited, was also a bit overwhelmed about being the center of attention first thing in the morning.

Everyone was excited about the computer. :)

After the presents, it was time to play in the ribbon. Jasmine and Christian started the party.

Alex eventually saw what he was missing out on and joined in.

Alex and Christian had a lot of fun on the Jacksons visit to their homeland.

We moved in with my parents for a couple of weeks before we moved to Round Rock. Here are a few pictures around the house.

Snow Day

It snowed today! In Houston that happens once every few years, so it's a pretty big deal. So big, in fact, that I went and picked Jasmine up from school early to make sure that she didn't miss it. :)



Here are a few pictures of almost everyone enjoying the snow. Alexander was not a big fan. Yes, you have to look closely to see the snow flurries. It's still GREAT snow for Houston.

Now, it's time for Christmas music and hot chocolate!

Then Watson was asking for more. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have an obliging older sister.
