Y'all ready for this?

1 Musical Hummer + 2 Crazy Kids = 30 Seconds of Hilarity.

FPU

Christophe and I are teaching a class called Financial Peace University. It is a great class, though I have no pictures. We are also working on a few church things. I can't think of much else, but I thought I should say something about Christophe and I. :)

Alexander

I haven't talked about Alex in a while. He is amazing. He now officially, and for a few weeks, knows his letters, letter sounds, numbers, shapes, colors. He can count to 10. He can say his ABC's. He can sing the alphabet song and twinkle, twinkle little star. His vocabulary and annunciation have increased dramatically. You can have conversations with him and everything. His favorite sayings are: "Oh well." "I do it." "I help." "That's funny." "No way, baby." "Probably no." Oh, and he has developed quite the attachment to his Epiphany bear. The bear goes with him everywhere.

Here are Alex and I with the famed Epihany bear. He was laughing.

Here he is setting his bear "how about right here?" That is another thing he says a lot.
Here he is with his helmet ready for action.

This is where you can usually find him -- on a chair in the pantry looking for a snack.
He has taken to playing Cooking Mama and Boogie on the Wii. Here he is playing Boogie. He likes to sing into the microphone and usually ends up singing Twinkle Twinkle to whatever song is playing. He's also quite the dancer.

The kids napping

While napping is a daily occurance for the two boys, it is rare that it happens at the same time. It is even rarer when all three of them nap at the same time. I took pictures. :)

Jasmine's 2nd tooth loss

Jasmine lost her second tooth this morning. She came to see if we were awake, and we weren't. That is usually the case. She was laying down waiting patiently and playing with her tooth. Out it popped. Just like that. Needless to say, we were forced awake in seconds to enthusiastically celebrate her lost tooth. The tooth fairy brought her a dollar coin for the tooth. She was very excited.

Jasmine and Alex hanging out

One of Jasmine and Alex's favorite activities is hanging out in Jasmine's room listening to music. For Christmas, she received a CD player/radio and a Reba CD. They listen to that or the "funny" music, which is Alvin and the Chipmunks or Dora.

In this picture they are lounging and having a snack, but usually they are jumping on her bed. Yes, we let them jump on beds.

Jasmine lost her first tooth

Jasmine went to the dentist two weeks ago and was told that she had a loose tooth. She has been anxiously awaiting her visit from the tooth fairy since then. Then a couple of nights ago she discovered ANOTHER loose tooth.

Last night her first loose tooth finally fell out. We had been wiggling it and twisting it all day long to no avail. She went to brush her teeth before bed. Christophe went in to check on her and asked her where her tooth was. She didn't know -- she hadn't even realized that it fell out. Luckily, she doesn't rinse the sink after she brushes her teeth, because that's where they found it -- in the sink.

Here she is proudly holding her tooth while showing off her toothless smile. You can see the tiny baby tooth in her hand. She conveniently already has her adult tooth poking through her gums to replace the baby tooth.

Here she is putting her tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy.

Here she is a little too excited to go to sleep, but dutifully laying in bed, anyway.

Here she is with her spoils -- a rose shaped card, bubble gum lip balm and a silver necklace with a pink jeweled heart pendant.

We had a celebratory lunch at The Egg & I, but I forgot my camera. Her daddy and grammie were able to meet us there. It was nice. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so you will have to take my word for it.

Jasmine's new bike

Jasmine outgrew her bike, so we finally bought her a new one. This one has no training wheels, which I think we will need to rectify. :) (If you are looking for things like a bike, I would suggest checking craigslist.)

Here she is getting ready to ride her new bike.

Here I am riding her bike. I would have a picture of her riding it, but Christophe was derelict in his picture taking duties.

Nathan at 3 months

Here he is at 3 months old. :) He is a boy of many faces.
