Last night her first loose tooth finally fell out. We had been wiggling it and twisting it all day long to no avail. She went to brush her teeth before bed. Christophe went in to check on her and asked her where her tooth was. She didn't know -- she hadn't even realized that it fell out. Luckily, she doesn't rinse the sink after she brushes her teeth, because that's where they found it -- in the sink.
Here she is proudly holding her tooth while showing off her toothless smile. You can see the tiny baby tooth in her hand. She conveniently already has her adult tooth poking through her gums to replace the baby tooth.
Here she is putting her tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy.
Here she is a little too excited to go to sleep, but dutifully laying in bed, anyway.
Here she is with her spoils -- a rose shaped card, bubble gum lip balm and a silver necklace with a pink jeweled heart pendant.
We had a celebratory lunch at The Egg & I, but I forgot my camera. Her daddy and grammie were able to meet us there. It was nice. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so you will have to take my word for it.
