Gross Fungus Gnat Larvae

We noticed the worms coming out of the moss.  Looked it up and apparently, they are likely the larvae of fungus gnats.

Of course, everyone needed to look at how gross they were up close. 

Now you can see it, too.

Homemade Pizza

Nathan and Jordan decided to make pizza for dinner. Nathan made a regular pizza and Jordan made a gluten free pizza.   They smell sooo good.

A Grellded Cheese

She was excited because it is *2* grilled cheese cut in half and ended up looking like a flower. 

Salon next door

Kara opened up a salon next door.   Zoe is very happy with her work.

Alex broke his foot

The boys spent a couple of days with my dad in Blanco. They helped him with some work and rode dirt bikes. They had a lovely time with two small exceptions. Dominic got a migraine and Alex broke his foot.  It's the first real broken bone.   We've only had fractures before. He could have gotten by with a smaller boot, but he lives in a dangerous home requiring sturdier protection. 😅

Happy Fourth of July!! 🇺🇸

We had a lovely Pandemic Fourth of July.  Saw my dad when he brought the boys home.  Grilled burgers for the first time in a while and they turned out good. Saw Chris' sister.   Hung out with cool neighbors.  I enjoyed the neighborhood fireworks way more than the large shows. It was cool seeing everyone out.  🎆

A Neighbor's Wedding

Our neighbors just brought us a very sweet basket with toys, popsicles, sparklers and champagne  they came over to ask if we could keep our loud children and dog quiet during their wedding tomorrow.  😅  They are loud. And outside a lot.  We would have kept them inside anyway, but it was a really nice gesture.  👰🤵
