Our first day in Germany that I can remember

Today we (the kids and I) woke up pretty late, so we hung around the house for a bit. Our big outing was to Schinnen where we enjoyed, "Little America." There is a support base there that has american restaraunts and everyone speaks English and they take credit cards and such. We had lunch and perused the bookstore before grocery shopping, which was the goal. The kids played on the playground for a bit. Christian's favorite was the slide. Alex also enjoyed the slide, but his favorite was the dog teeter totter with his aunt Jennifer. Jasmine played mermaid with the net bridge as a mermaid trap. She actually made some friends with kids there. In Little America, everyone speaks english.

Alexander at our lunch in Schinnen. Jasmine has kindly shared her kids toy with him. Doesn't he look nice? He was proud and he received lots of attention in the bookstore.

This is Christian during lunch. I think this picture was taken by Jasmine, as well.

This is Jasmine during lunch. Here you see the matching necklace, but unfortunately miss the matching bracelet, to Alex's earings. Mom was teaching Jasmine how to hold her arm out to take a picture of herself. Not a bad result.

After we arrived back at the Jackson's the kids enjoyed some time outside in the very nice weather. Jennifer is talking to her Canadian neighbors.

One more of the boys playing and of Christian enjoying his birthday present, a brand new stroller. (Yes, he received it early. His aunt was a little anxious.)
