Space Center Houston

We took Jasmine and Alexander to the Space Center last weekend to see the Animal Grossology exhibit. Jasmine has wanted to see it most of the summer. We were educated on animals and their excrement and exciting smells and ways of eating. :) The Atkinson family joined us for our outing, and I think everyone had a good time.

This is Christophe explaining something to Alexander. Perhaps, he is explaining that the earth, moon and sun are not balls.

Sarah and Jasmine are looking through the artifact and museum area. Jasmine like the night sky effect with all of the stars, but I don't think she was able to fully understand the space missions and such.

Here Maggie and Alexander are looking in the mirror and playing with the dumbells. With this machine you can change the settings from one planet to another and then try to lift the dumbells whose "weight" changes according to which planet you select.

Jasmine and Sarah posing with an astronaut.

Alexander about to touch an actual moon rock. Actually, he probably just finished touching it and I pressed the button too late. Either way, that is a moon rock set out for people to touch.
